Ragi Jaggery Badusha

On the auspicious occasion of #Ugadi, prepare these delicious Ragi Jaggery Badusha to add a healthy twist to your festival mood.

Ingredients

Ragi

•Baking Powder

•Curd

•Salt

Jaggery

•Oil

•Green Elaichi

•Wheat Flour

•Butter

•Baking soda

•Kesar

Preparation

*For Jaggery Syrup

In a pan add 1/8 cup Grami Superfoods organic Jaggery, water as required, 3 strands of Kesar, green elaichi powder, mix and bring to a boil.

*For Badusha

Step 1: In a mixing bowl add 1/4 cup ragi flour, 1/8 tsp salt,1/4 cup whole wheat flour, 1 tbsp butter and mix it till crumble form.

Step 2: Add into the Curd mixture and knead into the dough.

Step 3: Make small round clean balls then flatten them and make a dent in the center.

Step 4: Heat oil in a kadhai and deep-fry badusha till golden. Soak fried badusha in a Jaggery syrup and serve.
